WINNERS OPEN SELECTION ROUNDS In October the Open Selection Rounds were held, resulting in 4 Wildcards winners for each category. The OSR’s were again a great success as tension was high and all archers appreciated the Face 2 Face matches. This makes the OSR already a good concept for smaller 1 day archery tournaments. On the Sunday 27 November the OSR concept will also be used for the “Mini F2F”. 24 talented young (10 – 15 years) archers from the Netherlands will compete in Hall 3 simultaneous to the (semi-) finals of the F2F.
OSR Winners: Recurve Men: Michiel Klomp; Gerard van Schelven; Stephan van Zijl; Geert van der Ven Recurve Women: Marijn Kneppers; Debbie Paap; Chantal Keijser; Esther Sommen Compound Men: Emiel Weterings; Dean Alberga; Cees Bakker; Stefan Kouwenberg Compound Women: Wilma Heijnen; Miara Campfens; Anja Noest; Sanne Neijs. We wish all Wildcard winners the best of luck and a great F2F tournament! After reaching the deadline for entry to the F2F, the organisation will add OSR archers who not have won a Wildcard to the F2F. This to fill up places to a factor of 6. This way the tournament will have little or no “Non Competitors”. Adding will be based on reaching (semi-) finals and /or ranking of total score.
