Until the start of the Face 2 Face archery tournament 2005 on November 25th we will publish a newsletter every 4 to 6 weeks to keep you up to date.
This newsletter will be send to everyone registered for the tournament and for the open selection rounds and to those who registered to receive this newsletter.
Please forward this newsletter to anyone you think might be interested in the Face 2 Face Archery Tournament. This might be an elite archer, archers, archery shops, manufactures, your national association, your pro-team members, or just your friends.

Due to the fact that André Korlaar member of the organizing committee has accepted a post for FITA in Oceania, this newsletter 5.3 has a small delay. The next newsletter will be published at the beginning of July 2005.

Open Selection Round Recurve men: Sunday 9 October 2005
Open Selection Round Recurve women, & compound women: Saturday 15 October 2005
Open Selection Round Compound men: Sunday 16 October 2005

PROMOTION
In April 2005 a delegation of the Concordia Archery Tournament foundation, organization of the Face 2 Face tournament 2005, was present at the 5 Nations field archery tournament in Trier, Germany and handed out a lot of posters for the 2005 edition of the tournament in Amsterdam. There was a great interest for the posters as well as for the Face 2 Face tournament 2005.

In June 2005 the Face 2 Face organization will be present at the world championship in Madrid, Spain.

OPEN SELECTION ROUNDS
The open selection rounds offer the possibility to win wildcards for entering the Face 2 Face archery tournament without addition costs. In each category (recurve/compound, men/women) four wildcards are available. See our newsletter 5.1 for more details (to be found on the website).
The number of participants for the Open Selection Rounds at this time (June 2005) is already higher than in December 2004. On our website you can find the names of the participants. All participant of the Open Selection Round have the possibility to get a personal webpage with photograph published.

REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2005 FACE 2 FACE ARCHERY TOURNAMENT
The registration for the 2005 Face 2 Face archery tournament is going on. For an overview of the already registered archers see our website http://www.face2face-archery.org. The organizing committee of the Face 2 Face tournament will be pleased to register more ladies in the recurve division. We hope to receive more entries when the outdoor season ends.

PRIZE MONEY
For the category compound men Mathews Inc has donated $ 6.000 as prize money. For details see our website. The Face 2 Face Archery Tournament has a total prize fund of 1900 euro.

ARCHERY TRADE SHOW
During the 2005 Face 2 Face archery tournament there will be an archery trade show. The organizers are doing their best to get as much as possible archery equipment traders interested to participate in this show.

The combination of the International Archery Trade show and the Face 2 Face Archery tournament 2005 will make a visit during the event a worthwhile trip.

WEB-CAM PROJECT
The organization of the Face 2 Face tournament has contacted FITA to have cooperation in the web cam project of FITA during the Face 2 Face tournament. FITA and Face 2 Face will discuss the possibilities after the World Championship outdoor in Madrid.

VOLUNTEERS
The Face 2 Face organisation strongly relies on the cooperation of volunteers. The organization especially encourages members of the Dutch archery community to subscribe as a volunteer. Subscribing for volunteer can be done at the website of Face 2 Face. All volunteers will receive the special:
- Alternative Sporting Services - Face 2 Face 2005 Cap
- Mathews Inc. & Bowsports - Face 2 Face 2005 shirt
These caps and shirts will also be sold during the Face 2 Face Archery tournament and Archery Trade Show.
