During the F2F Archery Tournament 2005 from November 25th till November 27th we will publish a News Flash every day. The News Flash contains the actual F2F news, including results. Please forward this News Flash to anyone you think might be interested in the F2F Archery Tournament. This might be an elite archer, archers, archery shops, manufactures, your national association or just your friends. FIRST PARTICIPANTS FROM THE USA ARRIVED IN AMSTERDAM
Today, Wednesday November 23rd the first participants of the F2F 2005 arrived at Schiphol airport. From Minneapolis the compound archers Bryan Helland en Tuna Hawley were one of the first to check in at the Accord hotel. The new Danage DOMINO targets were delivered at the venue and are mounted by our volunteers. We are set to go!

WEB CAMS DURING F2F
During the F2F tournament you can follow the scoring of the archers live via our web site. We will add a button ‘Web Cam’ on our site at http://www.face2face-archery.org that links you to our Web Cams. The Face 2 Face Archery tournament is one of the first archery events with this modern facility were one can see the archers shooting. The streams will be mixed and edited on the spot. You will see what the archers will see on the big 3m * 4m video wall.

PARTICIPANTS
The number of participants in the 2005 F2F edition is 191. They represent national and professional teams from 20 countries. A tough competition is expected with high scores. With the very high level of competitors it is hard to tell who still will be shooting during the finals on Sunday.

PRIZE MONEY
According to the principle ‘The winner takes it all’ the F2F tournament will pay € 500 to the winners of each of four categories (recurve and compound, men and women). There are extra prices offered by Mathews Solocam for the first, second and third price winners in the category Compound Men if they shoot a Mathews bow. For all four categories Hoyt offers extra prices under the condition that the price winner shoots a Hoyt bow. RNS Madrid gives free Big Men stabilizers sets for all winners shooting a recurve bow. For the extra prices we refer to the tables below.

Mathews:
Compound men: 1st: 5000 US Dollar, 2nd 2000 US Dollar, 3rd 1000 US dollar
(winners have to shoot Mathews)

Hoyt:
Compound men: 1st: 4000 US Dollar, 2nd 2000 US Dollar, 3rd 1000 US dollar
Compound women: 1st: 3000 US Dollar, 2nd 1000 US Dollar, 3rd 500 US dollar
Recurve men: 1st: 3000 US Dollar, 2nd 1500 US Dollar, 3rd 750 US dollar
Recurve women: 1st: 1500 US Dollar, 2nd 750 US Dollar, 3rd 500 US dollar
(winners have to shoot Hoyt (riser and limbs))

RNS Madrid:
Recurve men & Recurve women: 1st, 2nd, 3rd: complete BM Archery stabilisator sets

F2F Organisation:
